"Is your nipple grease pure lanolin?"
"Ummmm . . . yes--why?"
"I was reading on my music forum and it says that pure lanolin makes a great slide lube."
So here he is greasing his horn with Lanisoh in preparation for church tomorrow.
We're finding out the hard way that Lydia and caffiene don't mix. I had a coke last night for dinner and she was up from 2-6am. I had coffee this morning to deal with the fact that she kept me up from 2-6am and she has been screaming and up all day. Hopefully she will sleep tonight. This reminds me of how life was with Elijah!! He never slept! The only thing that makes her happy is being slung (and being walked around--can't sit still today). Here she is this afternoon helping me with laundry.
Here she is this morning helping me just hang around.
Can I just say how much I LOVE my maya wrap??!! I love the pouch for quick trips--just pop her in. I love the Mai-Tai for the park--two straps, extra security! But I love the Maya when they are small and one shoulder is all you need to carry them. You can back, carry, front carry, forward face or face it. It is so versitile! My midwife from Elijah's birth gave us this one and we used it with him. Now that I am a slinging expert (ha ha) I have jumped right into it again.
And finally--since every other memeber is represented--here is a picture of how Elijah spent his morning. Finger painting!! We have a rainy day here and we broke out the play-dough, markers and fingerpaints to keep him occupied. Afterwards he "helped" by washing his brushes and cups in the sink while I cleaned up the kitchen from his artistic explosion.
